ATHLETICS:

· Congratulations to the football team for their win over Belaire last night.

· Good luck to the cross country team as they participate in St. Joseph’s Academy meet at Highland Road Park.

CONGRATULATIONS:

· Congratulations to Ethan LeBlanc, Sean Oxley, Jon Hollier, and Nadeshda Rolon for placing 3rd at the Area IV FFA Forestry Contest yesterday. They will compete at the State Contest next week.

· Art Club would like to announce the 2023 Homecoming Door decoration Winning teachers and their first block classes.

ALL STUDENTS:

· Today is the Homecoming Parade at 5pm. Students, if you are riding on a float in the homecoming parade please park in the south parking lot by the new gym on Florida, at the baseball field, or at Westside. The floats will be lining up in the north parking lot on Burgess and only those vehicles that are in the parade will be permitted in the lot.

· For the Homecoming Dance on Saturday, don’t forget to enter the dance you need to show:

§ Your electronic ticket on your phone or a paper copy with the bar code,

§ AND, an ID

§ Have both ready when you walk up to the door for quick entry.

· Today, we will have an AVEDA Institute recruiter visiting. Be sure to stop by their table during your lunch to get more information about AVEDA.

JUNIORS:

· The Junior Ring Ceremony will be on Monday, October 16th. All juniors must complete a Participation Form. If you did not get a form in homeroom, you can pick one up from the annex.

SENIORS:

· There will be a senior meeting with Herff Jones on Monday, October 2 during 2nd block in the new gym. All seniors should report to your 2nd block class and will be dismissed shortly thereafter to attend the meeting. Any senior participating in the graduation ceremony in May must order a cap and gown from Herff Jones.

· Senior portrait proofs from the make-up day have arrived. You can pick up your proofs from the annex.
