ATHLETICS:

· Tonight, the Wildcats will play at Live Oak in an important district game at 7pm. Come out to Live Oak and show your support. Tickets are on sale under i2Tickets, but you must select Live Oak as the venue. Walker is not selling the tickets this week, but they use the same vendor for tickets. CONGRATULATIONS and GOOD LUCK:

· Congratulations to the FFA carpentry competition team for placing 3rd place at the area 4 competition. These members will be advancing to the state competition in Shreveport on Wednesday, November 8th. Team members of the Walker Blue team are: Aidan Blount, Patrick Fink, Bradley Fleegle, Reid McMorris and Jonathan Washington. Congratulations on this accomplishment as members of the first ever FFA Carpentry Competition team.

· Tomorrow the Band of Legacy will be competing at the Dutchtown Marching Festival. Good luck Band… we know you will be great!!!

ALL STUDENTS:

· The Green & White Cookie Site is closed. It will reopen again on 10/30.

Today is the deadline to sign up for the ACT Bootcamp which will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, October 24 & 25, from 2:45-4:45pm. The cost is $42.

· Today, we will have recruiters from Nicholls State University visiting during all lunch shifts to give students current information. Stop by the table in the front of the cafeteria to visit and learn more about Nicholls.

SENIORS:

· Herff Jones will be here Tuesday, October 24 taking senior orders. They will be set up in the new gym lobby during all 3 lunch shifts. Any student wanting to participate in the graduation ceremony must purchase a cap and gown from Herff Jones.
