· Huge congratulations to our Women’s Cross-country team! They placed 3rd as a team in regionals with 4 top 25 finishers and 4 of our 7 runners PRd in the varsity race. Ava Pitarro 13th place; Candilynn Vega 18th place; Avery Guidry 22nd place; and Tamara Fonseca 25th place. Good luck at State ladies.

· Also, huge congratulations to our Men’s cross-country team. They placed 3rd as a team at regionals and had 3 top 25 finishers. Jacob Kennedy 2nd place; Lawson Borne 20th place and Peyton Levy 23rd place. We are very proud of them. Good luck at State!

· Tonight, the Wildcats are playing at Denham Springs at 7pm. Admission is $10 cash at the gate! Come out and support your Wildcats for their last regular game of the season!!!

· Congratulations to the Lady Cats basketball team for their win yesterday. They play again tomorrow in Lafayette.

· Good luck to the wrestling team as they start their season at St. Michaels tomorrow.

· The fishing team will be competing at a State Qualifier at Red River this weekend. Good luck fishing team!

· Letterman jackets will be ordered on Friday, Nov. 18th. Order forms must be picked up from your coach or sponsor!

· Boys basketball is looking for a video manager. If you are interested go by the old gym and see Coach Young!

· “Meet the Wildcats” for our winter sports will be on Monday, November 7th at 6:30pm in the new gym. We will recognize girls’ and boys’ basketball, girls’ and boys’ soccer, wrestling and bass fishing. Come show your support as these season’s are getting started.


· Congratulations to the Walker Raiders for placing 9th out of 23 teams from across the country in the 2022 All-Service Raider Nationals in Georgia. Great job Marine Corps JROTC.

· Today is the deadline for attendance excuses, make up assignments, and late work (for teachers who accept late work).

· Don’t forget today is the deadline to sign up for ACT that will be held on December 10, 2022. You can sign up at

· The Veterans Day Program is Friday, November 11 at 9:00. Any and all military personnel are invited to attend. See the Wildcat Window or the Annex for a flyer. Veterans should arrive for 8:30 for refreshments in the new library.

· If any student is interested in singing in the Veterans Day Program, see Mrs. Tate or Mr. Rushing during your lunch shift by Monday in the ag building near the greenhouse.


· Seniors: mid-year graduation applications are now available for pickup in the guidance office. Deadline to turn in completed applications is Friday, November 18.

· Herff Jones will return to school to take senior supply orders on November 11th, 18th and December 9th during all lunch shifts. They will be set up in the new gym lobby.
