ATHLETICS AND EVENTS:
· Congratulations to the boys’ and girls’ basketball teams for their wins in the Jamboree last night. Basketball season has officially started! Tonight, the JV Lady Cats basketball team will play at Madison Prep. The next home game will be Tuesday when the Lady Cats play Southern Lab here at home.
· Tonight is Round 1 of the Football Playoffs when the Wildcats play Benton High at 7pm in Wildcat Stadium. Tickets are on sale at: i2Tickets.com. Your student athletic passes do not work for playoff games. Come out and cheer on our Wildcats as they compete to go on to round 2 of the playoffs.
· Tomorrow, the boys’ soccer team will have a soccer tournament here at home.
· The wrestling team will be competing at Holy Cross.

ALL STUDENTS:
· Students, we will be on a modified schedule today so please follow our teachers’ instructions. This morning we will be honoring our veterans in our annual Veteran's Day Program. This afternoon we will have a pep rally.
· Today is the grade and attendance cutoff for this interim.
· There will be a SADD Club meeting today right after school in room 1004.
· If you are interested in AHEC's Day with the Doctors, DASH into Dentistry, CI: Healthcare or AHEC of a Summer you can get information on application requirements from Mrs. Bourn in room 402. Application Deadline is November 21st.
· Students, did you know the absolutely best way to increase your ACT score is to retake the test? ACT is offering a Buy One Get One Free test! It's not too late to register for the December 9th ACT test. ACT is accepting late registration through November 17th. Plus, if you take the ACT on December 9th, you will get to take another ACT test for FREE!! All students who pay to register for the December 2023 ACT will receive a discount code that can be used to take another ACT® test for free. The discount code will be sent to your email no later than Dec. 18, 2023, and must be used by Jan. 31, 2024. Please note, students who register for the December 2023 ACT using a fee waiver will not receive the discount code. However, additional fee waivers can be requested under the ACT Fee Waiver Program.

· Students, don’t forget to get your presale tickets for “A Hillbilly Christmas Carol” presented by our theater class. They are on sale until Nov. 17th. You can get tickets by scanning a QR code on any poster or by going to i2Tickets.com.
