ATHLETICS:
Congratulations to the Lady Cats basketball team on a very successful season.
Congratulations to the Softball Lady Cats for their 10-0 win over Brusly yesterday.
The boys’ basketball team will play in the Quarterfinals at home tonight at 6:30pm against Ouachita. Come out and support your Wildcats!!!
The boys’ baseball teams have games today and tomorrow. The freshman play at Catholic High today at 4pm and in the Denham Springs tournament tomorrow at 10am and 2pm. The JV team plays in the Central tournament today at 3pm and tomorrow at 1 and 3pm. The varsity team is playing in the West Monroe tournament with games today at 4:30pm and tomorrow at 10am and 12:30pm. Good luck to our baseball teams.
Good luck to the Bass Fishing Team as they compete in Toledo Bend.
Tomorrow our Track and Field team will be participating in the Catholic High Invitational. Good luck Wildcats!
Any student interested in being a football manager needs to contact any of the football coaches to sign up.

The deadline to sign up for the April 15th ACT is quickly approaching. If you are interested in taking this ACT you must sign up by March 10th at ACT.ORG.
Students, don't forget that Online Scheduling is available through Wednesday, March 8th. All documents must be returned to guidance by Thursday, March 9th.
This week is FFA week. In 1969, membership became open to women. Today, more than one third of all FFA members are female, and women hold nearly half of all the state leadership positions. Today, FFA will be hosting AG Olympics at all lunch shifts. Today is a Cow Pie eating competition (pudding). Come participate in this friendly competition. Those who participate in the Ag events will win prizes! Remember to look for the emblems hidden on campus. If you find the cow emblem and FFA emblem, bring them to the Ag building, room 5004, to claim your prize!
JUNIORS/SENIORS:
The Senior/Junior Prom will be on Saturday, March 25th.
Tickets are $15 each and will be on sale starting Wednesday, March 8th.
Tickets can be purchased at: walkerhigh.org through the online payment system.
All obligations, fees, and overdue guidance paperwork must be taken care of prior to purchasing your ticket.
Every student attending prom must purchase your own ticket.
If you are bringing a guest from another school you can purchase a separate guest ticket, but you must include the guests’ name and school in the Purchase Notes.
If you are a Sophomore or Freshman and are the guest of a Junior or Senior, you must purchase your town ticket and put who you are going with in the Purchase Notes.
Tickets will be emailed to your school email.
